The Station

Nottingham University Television Station (NUTS) is a Student Run Service (SRS) which is part of the University of Nottingham Students’ Union.

The station produces a wide range of coverage through its four channels: Culture, Entertainment, News, & Sport

Also, as an international SRS, we provide content from the China campus.

Last year we had over 150 crew members and won our first National Student Television award for one of our music programmes.

Our Coverage

This year the station is excited to be running the largest freshers’ week coverage in the country, including a daily live broadcast at 7PM.

Our sports coverage for 2011/2012 will have a heavy focus on the Nottingham Uni v Trent Varsity Series, the largest varsity series outside of America, and will include live broadcasts of both football and ice hockey matches.

We also offer a comprehensive coverage of our Students Union’s elections and of our university’s Summer Party, which is the largest student musical festival in Europe attracting acts such as Example and N-Dubz, and is hosted annually by the University of Nottingham.
